Brought to you by FreedomTech’s CHAT – Community Hub for Accessible Technology and Disrupt Disability Arts Festival, this dynamic industry event includes prominent speakers from disability and arts organisations, moderated by Sinéad Burke, CEO of Tilting the Lens. The discussions will explore how assistive technology can unlock artistic potential, promote collaboration across sectors, and improve access to the arts for artists and audiences with a lived experience of disability. Networking opportunities and break-out groups will ensure lively, interactive conversations.
CHAT is an assistive technology Community of Practice established by FreedomTech, a partnership between Enable Ireland and the Disability Federation of Ireland. It is a multistakeholder community, fostering access to AT for all who need it and supporting the development of competency and confidence on the part of service providers in assistive technology service delivery across health, education, employment and social settings. CHAT is sponsored by Sight and Sound Technologies.
